Fusion Food Feast ticked away in Norwich.
Where to start? The 'crackanese' fully loaded chips where crispy and soft in the middle. Topped with plentiful spring onions accompanied by the tang and spice of the seasoning and sauce. 10/10
Buffalo wings where great, could've been a bit spicier, nice when dipped in the ranch dip. However, I always prefer buffalo wings with a blue cheese dip rather than ranch.
The burgers... wow! Lots of flavour and uniqueness. The katsu burger, was just amazing, I have never had anything like it. The chicken was cooked just right and the sauce was just enough not to drown the sandwich and become mush. The Korean BBQ burger, well coated and equally as good! We still cannot get over the volume of the sandwich.
I liked this place. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is also great. The food is quality too. The only slight criticisms, firstly, the bowl that the bibimbap was served in was quite small, making it a little difficult to mix it all together. Secondly, not really any 'chilli heat' options. We asked for the bibimbap to be spicier, but it was still pretty mild and the Korean fries with gochujang mayo also very mild. Nothing wrong with the quality, burger was well made and well cooked, so too were the other items. I know heat isn't for everyone, but I would just usually expect some spicier options for Korean style food.
First time I've tried the food here and it really was a treat. We took a large party and the weather was nice so we were seated outside and offered water. There was no hurry to decide what we wanted and our server was very attentive. We ordered a variety of meals which were all served at around the same time, which isn't always the case everywhere else. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous and there were no qualms when we asked for boxes to take our leftovers.
All in all a very positive experience and one I look forward to taking again.
Delicious burgers and really fun flavours. We loved the cucumber salad too, so refreshing. We rang in the evening and they had a table free straight away. We were blown away by the vegan seitan, so soft and delicious! Thai satay fries were yum!
We had dinner here tonight and we will definitely come back!!
Everything was super fresh; they make their own gochujang mayo and korean bbq sauce, so the dishes were very flavourful.
The slaw was very different, almost unseasoned, but not bad.
Overall, 5/5.
